ill give an example: if you want to take fire blade and replace it with lightning blade from batle mode 1 you would replace enchant_04-1 with enchant_06-2 and to make it cast like lightning blade just replace the enchant_04-on with enchant_06-on then your fire blade will look like lightning blade in battle mode 1

Force Shielder Skills: skil_1h_057.efx -- Force Shielder Storm Rush | not by me but i duno who made this list =) same method just change it in CabalOnline SGMY>data>FX>EFX>magic or CabalONline SGdata>fx>efx>skills 1st step go to the correct folder =) 2nd find the wep you want (for me i'll use a coraleye orb) 3rd find the wep you want to change it to(for me its the wizards bm2 wep) 4th step Delete the file of the wep you want to change(remember to make backups just in-case =) 5th step copy the file that you wish you change your wep to 6th step paste the file you copied into the fsame folder 7th rename it to the weapon you want to change EDIT:Weapons below osmium are located at CablSGMY>data>items>arms folder,you cannot change it to anything else in the efx folder credits for find to zero93and there you have it =) i'll post some of the magic skills later guide was made by me =) item list is benexdrakes and remember to make back-ups and a thanks would be nice if it works for you =)

| Disclaimer: before you go about doing this, understand this
technically speaking, this is perfectly legal by game and does not violate any "end user liscence agreement" conditions because doing this is not changing the game mechanics in any significant way, nor does it affect anyone else but you as the user. HOWEVER, from what i understand, as much as this is allowable, you are NOT allowed to say discuss it in in-game chat, nor are you allowed to post up tutorials on how to do this on any OFFICAL site regarding Cabal, or have discussions on it on said sites. It is only legal and won't get you banned for YOU to do it because you are not modifying the game mechanics of anyone else, nor can anyone else see this. (Somewhat under the same logic as the jukebox modifications.)
the only modifications that have occurred to these is the cropping of the image size. which means when i'm playing the game, i am ACTUALLY wielding 2 ShadowTitanium Great Swords.
"ZOMG***BBQ U HAX PIKE" --- nay, i do not, for the game still registers those two massive blades as my two shadowsteel katanas.
how is this possible? all i did was change the names of the files by which the game reads so it reads the file for ShadowTitanium GreatSword in the place of Shadowsteel Katana (and vice-versa).
here is how it is done: Cabal reads its information for its weapons out of certain file directories. the one for weapons is located in:
(HARD-DRIVE LETTER):\Cabal Online\Data\Item\arms
here you will see a big list of jibberish, so i'll try to make some sense of it:
1h_bld_(number).ebm = BLADE 1h_kat_(number).ebm = KATANA 2h_bld_(number).ebm = GREAT SWORD 2h_kat_(number).ebm = DAIKATANA cry(number).ebm = CRYSTAL orb(number).ebm = ORB
(i am unaware as to which items 1h_brc refers to, or the remaining itmes)
as for the numbers:
00 = standard 01 = iron (or its crystal/orb equivalent) 02 = damascus (") 03 = shadowsteel (") 04 = bluestin (") 05 = titanium (") 05+ = shadowtitanium (") 06 = osmium 06+ = red osmium 07 = mithril 07+ = (from what i understand, this is for crystals/orbs only, and it refers to a red and blue version of mithril, though i have not tested this)
now, in order to make that basic katana become a mithril greatsword, all you have to do is change their filenames to eachother. as in, change 1h_kat_00.ebm to 2h_bld_07.ebm and the other way around. now, when you log back in, ALL standard katanas will now look like a mithril greatsword (that means other players will sport them as well) and the same way around.
understand however, that to everyone else in the world, you will still appear to be holding your named equipment, only you will be able to see the changes. I was unable to get someone to take a screenshot with me to verify this, but just know, NOBODY ELSE SEES IT.
final note: i have seen screens of a blader wielding dual ASTRAL-LANCES, though i am unaware of the directory as to where that file is located. however, it's still possible.
note: theoretically, if you were able to find the files or know which files are referring to what items, you could wield an astral board or as your weapon, i just don't know how to do it.

Each skill has a unique skill number (as listed above) and the numbers are the same for the same skill no matter in EFX or sound folder.
Files in /Data/FX/EFX/Magic are all magic skills and they should not be a problem because it is straight-forward
Files in /Data/FX/EFX/Skills are all sword skills. there are different types file names inside here, for example (take Impact Stab(002) as an example): skil_1h_002.efx skil_2h_002.efx skil_du_002.efx the _1h_ stands for 1 handed sword user, FS and FB. the _2h_ stands for 2 handed sword user, obviously Warrior is the only class. the _du_ stands for dual sword user, Blader is the only class.
So, if I (a wiz) equip 2 one-handed swords (dual sword user), the program will use skil_du_002.efx to show Impact Stab animation. If I equip a katana on 1 hand and an orb on the other hand, the program will use skil_1h_002.efx to show the Impact Stab animation. and same goes for 2h.
This means that if I use other skill (*.efx) file to replace skil_du_002.efx, the new skill animation will only appear when you use impact Stab if you equip 2 one-handed swords(dual sword user).
Well of course only those universal sword skills such as Impact Stab and Rising Shot appear in 1h, 2h and du files. Class specific skills, take Blade Scud(035) for an example, only appear in du file, you can't find skil_1h_035 in Skills folder as you can't use Blade Scud if you are equiping only 1 sword or a two-handed sword.
For the sound effects, the sound files are in WAVE format(*.wav) and they are located in /Data/Sounds. You can also change these files for your entertainment, like changing the look of the weapon. The skills sound effect files are named: skill_***.wav where *** is the skill number. And the files here are pretty straight-forward.
Below are the sound files of BM2 skills:
