Tierra Glosiora Guide

The 2 guides are written by TheTitan in Cabal Europe Forum.

The reason i posted them here is because there seems to be alot of shouting like " DO NOT USE POINTS TO BUILD" or "STRICTLY USE ALZ TO BUILD ONLY" in Venus. Seems like people here kinda confused between BUILDING POINTS and NATION SCORE.

Note:
POINTS are shown as "P" at the top right of your screen in TG.
The outpost your nation control generates POINTS every 3 minutes. Amount differs by the size of the outpost.
Nation SCORE are shown as "S" just below the "P".
Blue "S" = your nation score, while Red "S" = your opponent nation score.

Proof:

1. Nation Score NEVER goes down even if someone use points to build tower.

Please don't take my word for it, try yourself and build a tower using
BUILDING POINTS and watch if the SCORE of your nation reduce.

In fact, Nation Score WILL NEVER goes down.

Others in CabalSea (liddokun956 and zukedu), have tested this also, and found the same result.

2. Please take a look at the screenshot that shows the scoring system in TG of CABALSEA.



Explanation:
Occupied HQ: Destroying the base will give the nation 5K points here.
Occupied Fortress: This reflects the points gotten from occupying fortress/outpost
Destroy Enemy: Well, all knows what this stands for.
Destroy Force Tower: Simple as it is
Destroy Legacy Guardian: Also pretty obvious what it means.
Left Force Tower: Remaining HP of force tower will also contribute to the score.

So it is pretty obvious that, NONE of the above refers to "REMAINING BUILDING POINTS".

Conclusion:

Controlling outpost/fortress basically give your nation 2 things:
1. BUILDING POINTS (P)
2. NATION SCORE (S)

Using BUILDING POINTS will NOT lower NATION SCORE.

For more in-depth understanding regarding building, please look into the two guide carefully.

Basically I want to point out that there is nothing wrong with using POINTS to build towers, especially res/warp tower, as long as your country has enough POINTS.
Buffing and debuffing towers can prove to be very useful if used correctly.

In fact, building more towers will actually help your country win, in many ways.

1. Help your nation member to control outpost/base
2. Help your nation member to defend outpost/base
3. Stop your opponent from building tower using control panel at strategic location.
This is because tower have its own "territory".

So having more fixed tower will actually boost the last row of the scoring, although not by much, but it helps.
Having more LEFTOVER BUILDING POINTS won't add to your NATION SCORE.

However, having said all these, BUILDING POINTS should not be spammed either.
For example, building 2 resurrection towers at one outpost is usually a bad idea, especially if your country don't have much BUILDING POINTS left.
Another example, building 2 buff / debuff towers nearby are useless too because the effect will not stack.

Portable tower (small) can be build in 0 seconds. However, portable towers only last for 3 minutes max.

LOL. Yess. It does give you a higher personal score.



But now, now. I am not saying, "**** THE POINTS ARE FREE! LETS SPAM TOWERS LIKE RETARDS!"
All i am trying to point out is, points are added from the number of
towers our nation controls. And its free. Why not use it to build
defensive or offensive towers that have tactical advantage? Use the
points to push or repel attacks and/or create a iron wall.

I am personally appaled by the attitude of cabaliers when people use
points to build. Shouting at people and calling them explicitly wont
help with the morale. Settle it after or before the war. Not during the
war, "Dont use points to build la XXXXer". Dont fight amoung ourselves.

All over the chat. Irritating isnt it? We can read. Maybe you cant, but we all understand if u do that again.

Also, in todays war. We suggested that the points are used for construction, and yet we received a tidal wave of flame. Fine.

IF, we were building with points without a reason and ignoring the
general consensus, sure, we are retards. But when we try to reason and
explain what is it use for.... Dont flame, until you comfirm you are
right. Level does not indicate intelligence. For people who think that
if you are level 146 or 150 and above are smart, you are the true
retards. Confusing reality with game level, amusing in all ways.

But not to turn this thread into a flame war. I would like to humbly
thank the TS for the effort and to clarify the matter. I am very
thankful. May this thread serve the purpose of informing both,
Capellens and Procyons. And from here on out, if anyone is flamed for
building with points. I deem the flamer, mentally incapacitated. Unless
the builder builds the tower in the base and "prays" for enemy teams to
waltz to our base in the first 5 mins.... =_= LOL at that one....
